Our Beliefs or Statement of Faith
Christ Life Church believes the whole Bible to be completely and equally inspired and that it is the written Word of God. Christ Life Church has adopted the following Declaration (or Statement) of Faith as its standard and official expression of its doctrine.

The Scripture
We believe the whole bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.  The Bible is our sole rule of faith and practice.  Whatever authority tradition, prophetic revelation, or experience have, they are secondary to and only valuable in as much as they are in agreement with Scripture.    (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21; John 10:35 )

The Godhead
We believe there is but one living and true God everlasting, of infinite power, wisdom and goodness; Maker and Preserver of all things, both visible and invisible. And in the unity of this Godhead there are three Persons of one substance of eternal being, and equal in holiness, justice, wisdom, power, and dignity; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10,11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22).

Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary, that He is the Son of God and the son of man, in His sinless humanity, in His miracles, in His vicarious sufferings and atoning sacrifice through His shed blood, in His bodily burial  and resurrection.  That He came to save man from condemnation of sin by offering His blood as an atonement and making it available to all who exercise faith in Him. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor. (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31, 35; John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Man
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but as a result of sin is lost and in need of redemption and powerless to save himself and that that the only hope for a man is to believe on Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Psalm 51:5; Ecclesiastes 7:29; John 6:44; Romans 5:12-21; 1 Corinthians 2:14).

Salvation
We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential (Luke 7:50, 24:47; Romans 10:13-15; 1 Corinthians 1:18; 2 Corinthians 2:15; Ephesians 2:8, 9; 2 Timothy 1:9; Titus 2:11, 3:5-7).

Sanctification
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life and that sanctification is initiated in regeneration, progressed in this life and consummated in glorification. (Romans 8:5; Philippians 2:12, 13; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; 1 John 2:29).  The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord.  We believe in the Doctrine of Salvation as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation and Christ’s return. (Hebrews 12:14, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, 2 Peter 3:18, 2 Cor. 3:18, hil 3:12-14, 1 Cor 1:30)

Water Baptism
We believe that baptism is a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for believers only.  The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matt. 28:19, Romans 6:4, Colossians 2:12, Acts 8:36-39)

Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is given to believers who ask for it by faith and is subsequent to the New Birth, that it is to endue the believer with power; and that His incoming is after the same manner as in Bible days and that the believer is commanded to continually “be filled” with The Spirit. We believe in speaking in tongues, but that it's a beginning evidence of a being baptized in the Holy Spirit; there's more to come. (Joel 2:28; Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, 38 Matt 3:11, John 14:16-17, Ephesians 5:18)

The Spirit-Filled Life
We believe that it is the will of God that we walk in the Spirit daily and that the Holy Spirit has gifts to bestow upon the Christian; and that we should show spiritual fruit as evidence of a Spirit-filled life (Ephesians 4:30-32, I Corinthians 12:1-11; Galatians 5:22).

End Times
We believe in the personal, imminent, powerfully, and glorious return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

Healing
We believe the atoning redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body and is the privilege of every member of the Church today and is wrought by the power of God through believing prayer, and/or the laying of hands and/or by the supernatural gifts of the Spirit.  (Isaiah 53:4, 5; James 5:14-25; 1 Peter 2:24, Matt 8:17, Mark 16:18)

Church
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ and is composed of all those who, through belief in Christ, have been spiritually regenerated by the indwelling Holy Spirit. The mission of the Church is worldwide evangelization on the one hand, and the nurture and discipline of Christians on the other.

Tithes and Offerings
We believe that the method ordained of God for the support and spread of His cause is by giving of tithes and free-will offerings (Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9:7).

Judgment
We believe in the resurrection of the body; those who are believers to eternal glory and those who are unbelievers to everlasting damnation in hell. (Matthew 24:31-46; Acts 24:15; Revelation 22:11)
